EyeKinetix® Pupil + Ocular Motor Function
Here at Clear View Vision Care, we use EyeKinetix® Pupil and Ocular Motor Function technology to collect objective data on PLR (pupil light reflex) responses. This revolutionary technology utilizing RAPDx allows minimally-trained technical staff to collect data on PLR responses in a non-invasive way. This process is fast, easy, and pain free for the patient. Features of this system include:

The basic pupil exam takes just about 30 seconds if no blinks are detected. If need be, the extended pupil exam takes five minutes, comprised of nine sub-exams with a 10-second break in between. Our eye doctor in Tucson AZ uses this test to measure responses of the macula, macula sparing, inferior and superior nasal quadrants. It’s also designed to measure pupil responses to certain colors.
